Solstice for Diamond

鑽石首致软件

Solstice for Diamond is a result of the collaboration between TSSI and Xcerra (formerly LTX-Credence) to enable data conversions from electronic design automation (EDA) outputs to Unison format, which runs the DiamondX, DxV and instruments.Solstice for Diamond

Key Capabilities:

  • Reads functional (VCD, EVCD) and scan (WGL, STIL) patterns
  • Facilitates high-speed ATE programming and rules checking for the Diamond Series
  • Powerful and feature rich interactive waveform editor
  • Fastest EVCD cyclization engine: auto discover timings and ATE formats
  • Easy setup to convert patterns within minutes
  • Instant verification of converted patterns against EDA source
  • Lowest price on the market
3360 pattern
WGL and STIL vector files contain timing (cyclized) by designed. Translating WGL/STIL format to an ATE format is, therefore, very straight forward.

It's even easier with TSSI's conversion engine because of built-in mapping, tester rules checking, and an intermediate database that can retarget to any ATE format without re-reading the ASCII source file, which is a major time saving feature.

Solstice converts WGL/STIL in 3 easy steps:

  • Import the source WGL/STIL into TSSI's compact and high performance database
  • (Optional) View and Edit WGL/STIL (if needed) in waveforms instantly
  • Auto generates tester-ready files

The user interface is a simple flow diagram that's easy to build, self-documented, and without cryptic keywords and syntax to type. The flow diagram can also be run in a batch process to convert numerous WGL/STIL files.

3360 pattern
VCD and EVCD are event-based files generated by EDA simulation tools. Translating these files to a target ATE format requires a key step: cyclization.

Cyclization involves defining timing and ATE format that would put cycles onto the events and produce ATE friendly test patterns.

TSSI is the industry leading software vendor in cyclization technology. Our cyclization engine automatically discovers timing and ATE format just from reading the source VCD/EVCD file and analyzes ALL transactions found. The thorough analysis ensures all the intended device transactions are taking into account.

Solstice converts VCD/EVCD in 3 easy steps:

  • Import the source VCD/EVCD into TSSI's compact and high performance database
  • Examine the automatically generated timing and ATE format
  • Auto generates tester-ready files

The user interface is a simple flow diagram that enables test engineers to construct their flow the way they think. Each decision point in the flow is self-documented.

Solstice's TimeTable utility automates timing and format discovery and automatically constructs the entire flow diagram from VCD/EVCD to the ATE program. All without cryptic keywords and syntax to type. Bundled with the Solstice package, the TimeTable utility also automates many conditioning capabilities such as: snap I/O, align, move, guardband, etc.

3360 pattern
Solstice programs a target ATE's timing, format, and pattern resources via a TesterBridge module. A TesterBridge is being used in a WGL/STIL to ATE, or VCD/EVCD to ATE conversion process.

Solstice TesterBridge's capabilities:

  • Auto generates tester-ready files
  • Preserve comments, or merge comments for Analog Mixed-Signal or other external communication
  • Full control of ATE repeats, loops, subroutines compression and decompression
  • Reads user custom AliasMap
  • Auto-generates Multi-time Domain Unison program

A TesterBridge's many advance options can be configured via a Property form. ATE specific features are configured here to generate ready-to-load ATE files.

The user interface is a simple flow diagram that's easy to build, self-documented, and without cryptic keywords and syntax to type. Targeting a different ATE model is a simple re-directing a connection from the database to the new TesterBridge model.

A Three-Minute Video Introduction to Solstice Powerful Waveform Editor

Solstice's main user interface is called WaveMaker+. WaveMaker+ provides feature rich waveform editing capabilities with design and test engineers in mind. The unique ability to interactively edit the waveform, which in effect, edits the underline timing, and pattern data is unmatched on that market.

Solstice WaveMaker+ key capabilities:

  • Zoom, pan, measure
  • Overlay user specified cycle length to preview cyclization effect
  • Waveform comparison between two databases
  • Search for edge, signal, time, timeplate, cycle, comments, errors, difference (between two waveform databases)
  • Edit mode on all parallel and scan patterns
  • Insert protocols
  • Save As WGL or STIL ASCII format
